`Our superbly converted barn is set in the south west French
region of Poitou-Charente and within it's southern most
department "Charente". World famous for it's "Cognac" and
less well known for it's "Charentaise slippers!" it's near
Mediterranean climate makes for a excellent holiday destination.
The gite has three bedrooms, two of which are kingsize doubles
with the third being a twin. All of the bedrooms have built-in
wardrobes, European and U.K. power sockets and plenty of
space for travel cots if required.
There is a main shower room complete with a "Hydro-massage
cabin", w/c and designer hand basin with teak cabinet.
Downstairs is open plan yet the stairway gives a natural divide
between the living room and the kitchen. The living room has
two three seater leather sofa's, a flat screen TV and a
woodburner. The kitchen has oak units, a stainless steel range
and all the other necessary appliances for modern day living.
There is also a downstairs w/c.
Outside is the private terrace with views over the beautiful
Charentaise countryside with grounds totalling near 20,000 m2
there is plenty of space to relax or for children to play without
the need to leave the premises.
Adjacent to the gite is the lovely 12m x 6m SALT WATER pool
which is great for people who like to swim proper lengths but as
it is only 1-1.2m deep throughout it's also perfect for children to
play in or for water ball games.
There is also a salt water tub next to the pool perfect for mother
and babies or for just relaxing and taking in the views while the
children play in the pool. There are ample sun loungers around
the pool and also in the garden area.
The pool is fully enclosed and has it's own w/c and shower, the
gite and pool area is a free wifi hotspot. '
The owners live on-site to welcome you and to provide support.
